A CPS Strategic Partner is an organization that collaborates closely with Chicago Public Schools (CPS) to support and enhance educational initiatives across the district. These partners engage in multiple areas of focus, such as civic engagement, research, and community action, contributing to CPS's mission and vision.

CPS Strategic Partners play a vital role in fostering an environment where schools like Simpson Academy can thrive by leveraging community resources and expertise to support student growth and achievement.

Our Partners

RUSH

Our partnership with Rush Hospital has brought a school- based clinic to our campus, providing essential healthcare services to both our students and the surround cummunity.

BWPL

Our powerhouse partnership with BWPL fuels our students' growth through generous, inspiring improvement sessions and personal and professional mentoring that empowers them to thrive.

Salvation Army

The Salvation Army provides an on-site, fully licensed child care center, supporting our student mothers by offering quality childcare while they pursue their education.

Greater Chicago Good Depository

Our partnership with the Greater Chicago Food Depository provides free groceries, fresh fruits and vegetables, helping to nourish and sustain our students and their families.

Chicago Birthworks

African American Doulas & Midwives of Chicago with educational programming and pro-bono services for teen moms.

The Puddle Project

Our dynamic partnership with The Puddle Project pours into our students with mentoring, scholarships, job shadowing opportunities real-world support that helps them envision and build a brighter future.

Young Life

Young Lives, a faith-based partner, walks alongside our school by uplifting our girls through spiritual support, showing up for activities, and spreading joy during the holiday with thoughtful gift and love.

The church partners with us by providing gift support to our students during the winter holidays and during the graduation season. Mentorship opportunities are on the horizon.

Options-for-Youth

This partner engages with a group of our girls twice a month after school (Tuesdays) to work with them around parenting support and mentoring to ensure they have what is needed to be successful in education and life.

Our CSU TRIO partner provides support, from middle through postgraduate education; designed to help students overcome class, social and cultural barriers to higher education and lifelong success.

The Auxiliary

The Auxiliary of the Women's Board of Rush University Medical Center supports our students with extra support for our seniors through Butterfly Boot Camps that focus on personal growth, postsecondary planning, and parenting success.
