I am MaToya S. Marsh, the school counselor at Simpson Academy for Young Women. I am more than ready to assist with your questions about Simpson Academy! We have a rich history of providing resources and support to young mothers.
As you begin this process, please be sure to click on the link below so we can gather a little more information that will help with our discussion. Once I receive the form back, I will contact you to set up an enrollment meeting.
Enrollment Requirements
To enroll, please prepare the following documents:
Copy of Parent/Guardian's Photo ID
Proof of Chicago Residency (e.g., utility bill, lease, etc.)
Student’s Birth Certificate
Medical documentation of pregnancy or the child’s Birth Certificate
Most recent Transcript (for High School students) or Report Card (for Middle School)
Individualized Education Plan (IEP), if applicable
Current Physical Exam for the student
Transportation
We welcome pregnant and parenting young women in grades 6–12 from across the city of Chicago. At Simpson Academy, we provide a safe, supportive learning environment where your role as a student and your role as a mother can thrive together.
